embarcada o descarregada en vaixells de granels \u00e9s el c\u00e0lcul per difer\u00e8ncia de calats.<\/p><p>El calat \u00e9s la dist\u00e0ncia vertical entre la quilla i la l\u00ednia de flotaci\u00f3, \u00e9s a dir, la profunditat a qu\u00e8 est\u00e0 submergit el buc.<\/p><p>A partir de la lectura de calats a proa, al centre i a popa, de les taules hidrost\u00e0tiques del vaixell i de les correccions corresponents (assentament, quebrantament o arrufament i densitat de l&#8217;aigua), s&#8217;obt\u00e9 el despla\u00e7ament del vaixell. Descomptant els pesos variables a bord (llast, aigua dol\u00e7a i combustible), es calcula el despla\u00e7ament a l&#8217;inici i al final de l&#8217;operaci\u00f3.<\/p><p>La difer\u00e8ncia entre tots dos determina el pes de la mercaderia carregada o descarregada.<\/p><p>Aquest m\u00e8tode s&#8217;utilitza principalment per a granels s\u00f2lids com ciment, cl\u00ednquer, carb\u00f3, cereals, fosfats, sosa o bodegues que garanteixi que no s&#8217;ha pogut accedir a la c\u00e0rrega durant el viatge.<\/p><p>Es col\u00b7loquen precintes numerats a les tapes d&#8217;escotilla i a tots els accessos a les bodegues, i s&#8217;emet el certificat de precintat corresponent.<\/p><p>En arribar a destinaci\u00f3 es verifica el n\u00famero i la posici\u00f3 de cada precinte abans de tallar-lo, i s&#8217;emet un certificat de desprecintat o se signa el certificat de precintat fent constar que tot \u00e9s d&#8217;escotilla protegeixen la c\u00e0rrega de l&#8217;entrada d&#8217;aigua a les bodegues.<\/p><p>Es projecta aigua a pressi\u00f3 sobre les juntes i els tancaments de les tapes d&#8217;escotilla.<\/p><p>Tot seguit s&#8217;accedeix a l&#8217;interior de la bodega per comprovar si hi ha hagut entrada d&#8217;aigua i, posteriorment, s&#8217;obren les tapes per inspeccionar-ne els elements: juntes de goma, guies, falques, trinques, etc.<\/p><p>L&#8217;estanquitat tamb\u00e9 es pot verificar mitjan\u00e7ant
